DR Pirana is the solo alias of Mallorca-based Igor Tchkotoua, one half of Pig&Dan. His sound connects driving techno with tech house, minimal grooves and deep-house detail, centered on heavyweight low end, hypnotic rhythmic patterns, dark melodic tension and modular textures. Kiko Melis draws from Chicago house and classic US-house traditions while staying rooted in minimal house and minimal/deep-tech. Stripped-back percussion, rolling basslines, crisp rhythmic construction and deep-house warmth define his house-focused direction. His profile is closely tied to Palma’s underground circuit and Mallorca’s minimal scene.
